Thirteen laureates were awarded Nobel Prize in the Year 2021, for achievements that have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind.

Nobel Prize in Literature Abdulrazak Gurnah (Zanzibar) He won the prize “for his uncompromising and compassionate penetration of the effects of colonialism and the fate of the refugee in the gulf between cultures and continents”
Nobel Peace Prize Maria Ressa (Manila, Philippines) and Dmitri Muratov (Russia) They won prizes “for their efforts to safeguard freedom of expression, which is a precondition for democracy and lasting peace.”
Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences David Card (Guelph, Canada) The Prize is “for his empirical contributions to labour economics”
Joshua D. Angrist (USA) and Guido W. Imbens (Netherlands) They won the prize “for their methodological contributions to the analysis of causal relationships”
